Craig Doherty
Craig studied organ with John Mallinson at St Patrick's Cathedral in Melbourne, and was choirmaster in two Melbourne parishes before becoming Cathedral Director of Music in 1999. Craig's aim is to contribute to the praise of God, continuing the Cathedral's long musical tradition.
A lawyer by profession, Craig specialises in construction and engineering law and holds a Masters degree in that discipline. He is an accredited arbitrator and mediator.
Craig is married with two children: the whole family is involved in Cathedral ministry. Craig's non-musical interests include battling a large garden and keeping worn out Mercedes-Benzes alive.
