Pastoral Resources

Suicide, Mental Health and Theology

Suicide is a tragedy and there are few succinct pastoral resources that assist in this pained situation helpfully from a Biblical perspective. The is the first of several Cathedral resources. It is written by our Canon Theologian the Reverend Canon Dr Christopher Newell assisted by the Dean. We pray it is helpful.

Worship Resources

"Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness"

St David's Cathedral invites you to share our liturgy resources.

We are informally linked with the Cathedral Church of St Michael Coventry whose Liturgical Group produces world renowned contemporary liturgy for all major festivals. As you read these services the beauty and clarity of the Scriptures shines in through - the blessings and prayers lift us to the heavenly Christ.

You are welcome to use these and may change hymns and make minor amendments but copyright must be acknowledged.

These resources are in A4 format to be reduced to A5. As photocopiers differ in reduction, stapling techniques and collation please refer to your photocopier manual or supplier for leaflet production. The few resources not in A4 will be reproduced in that format over the coming weeks.
